Saigon Art Experience Day trip

Saigon tour in the morning, visit the ochre-colored Fine Arts Museum (closed on Mondays) to learn about the past, present and future of the arts movement in Vietnam. Stop by the studio/home of a well-known artist, interact with this artist to learn his/her life experiences. Move on to the elegant Duc Minh gallery which displays striking artworks by young artists for an overview of the flourishing Vietnamese arts scene. Be amazed by the embroidered works of wheel chair bound Ms Dieu Trinh at her workshop, where she is passionately preserving this traditional craft (her workshop is a not far from downtown). End your trip sipping tea at a calligraphy studio and have your name beautifully calligraphed on special paper. Try your own hand at calligraphy, not only a means of communication, but also a means of expressing one’s inner word.
